Introduction
WELCOME
The Fountaindale is nestled in the heart of Skegness and has succeeded in creating an informal and relaxed atmosphere in truly tasteful 4 star surroundings
Experience our atmosphere and escape for a weekend, a mid-week break or a family holiday, whether it be business or pleasure, we'll gladly accommodate.
DINING
We serve high quality plentiful traditional breakfasts and substantial home cooked evening meals, all served in our delightful dining room.
ACCOMMODATION
All the bedrooms are stylish and tastefully decorated all with bath or shower en-suites, situated on ground or first floor.
The rooms have many additional facilities which include complementary welcome trays, hairdryers, safes, fresh towels robes, toiletries, etc.
we have a South facing garden area with seating which attracts the sun all day.
LOCATION
We are ideally situated only minutes from the coach and train stations, the town centre and the seafront amenities.
The Fountaindale has its own private cctv car park with security lighting.
DIRECTIONS
From Boston (A52)
Enter One way system when approaching Skegness town centre. Keep on A52 (passing Taylors Garage on right) follow signposts to Mablethorpe (A52). Take second main turning right after rejoining two-way road into Scarborough Avenue. Straight over roundabout (St Matthews Church) to Skegness Pier. At Skegness Pier turn right. Straight over Clock Tower roundabout. Take first turning right and proceed straight over the staggered junction into Sandbeck Avenue. The Fountaindale is on the right side after several hundred yards.
From Lincoln (A158)
Proceed straight over traffic lights shortly after Football Ground. Continue to North Parade (promenade) and turn right. Straight over Clock Tower roundabout. Take first turning right and pass straight over the staggered junction into Sandbeck Avenue. The Fountaindale Hotel is on the right side after several hundred yards.

Arrival & Car Parking Facilities
• The Fountaindale as 7 car parking spaces
• Flat surfaced clearly marked for individual parking
• There is A dropped kerb
• Security lighting is in the car park as is cctv
• Cars are parked at owners risk as stated by signage
Main Entrance, Reception & Ticketing Area
• Our reception is laid to laminated flooring and as a large rug
• Seating is available in this quiet area
• A large bay window lets beautiful natural light into this area
• No restrictive walkways
• Fire Alarm system is housed in this room
• This is the only part of the building that wheelchairs are allowed due to health and safety
• Mobility scooters can be charged in the reception area only after 7pm in the evening authorisation must be obtained before booking and only 1 wheelchair/scooter is allowed on the premises at any one time
• From reception there are 4 steps with banisters to each side onto a small landing which turns right and is followed by a further 11 steps once again with banisters each side up to the first floor landing
• Excellent quality carpeting is fitted
• No restrictions on corridors
• 6 bedrooms on the first floor
• No pets or smoking is permitted
• Night lights fitted
• All doors are fire doors and open into the bedrooms

• Each room as its own allocated table
• From the landing the dining room is on 1 level with a small slope into the extension dining room
• Smoking is not permitted
• Allergies and special dietary needs need to be discussed before booking as do ailments and disabilities.
• Wheelchairs are not allowed in the dining room due to health and safety

• No Laundry facilities on site
• Launderama Laundry Services 5 minutes from the Fountaindale
Conference & Meeting Rooms, Banqueting
• The Fountaindale does not have any conference facilities
Clubs & Entertainment
• Being centrally located bars and restaurants are only minutes away the Fountaindale will be happy to oblige with locations if required
Bedrooms & Sleeping Areas
• All bedrooms are fully en-suited
• Free view TVs in all bedrooms
• All bedrooms are fitted with excellent quality carpets and en-suites with laminate or ceramic tile flooring
• All our bedrooms are free from animals and completely non-smoking areas
• All rooms have cordless kettles and welcome trays
• All rooms are levelled from the landings, no steps into the rooms
• All doors open into the bedrooms
• All bathroom doors open into the bedrooms
• All fitted with extraction units and smoke detectors
• Wheelchairs are not allowed in the bedrooms due to health and safety
• One Ground floor room is twin bedded and the other is a double
• The wet room is on the ground floor which as grab rails, a seat to shower if you should wish this is the twin room
• Bedrooms all have bedside lamps and ceiling lights, bathrooms have shaving points with lights above
• Smoke detectors fitted in all rooms

• Floor surface - all bathrooms are non-slip laminate or ceramic
• All doors open into the bathrooms
• All showers are self movable

Grounds and Gardens
• our outside south facing seating area is all one level with a gentle slope up to the entrance door
• the car parking is joined to the front grounds on one flat level
Additional Information
• Evacuation procedures, clear escape routes, map of fire assembly points are fitted on the back of all bedroom doors
• Background radio is played in the dining room for breakfast and evening meals
• Signage is throughout the Fountaindale
BOOKINGS
• Bookings are made and a contract between you and Us comes into effect when We accept a reservation from You. We will accept a reservation when we have confirmed your reservation and received full payment of the total price quoted from you, or accepted a deposit.
• You must be able to enter into a legally binding contract and be over 18yrs to make a Booking. We do not accept stag/hen party booking, pets of any sorts and children under 5 years old.
CONDITIONS OF STAY
• We have some standard rules that are designed to ensure that we comply with regulations relating to matters such as fire, health and safety, and to enhance the comfort and wellbeing of our guests. If you would like to check our conditions of stay please contact us. May we stress that we are a non-smoking establishment.
• We reserve the right to terminate Your Booking immediately without being Liable for any refund or compensation where you engage in unacceptable behaviour that causes a disturbance or nuisance to other guests, this includes smoking on the premises.
LIABILITY
• Other than for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or misrepresentation, our total liability to you is limited to the price of the Booking and to the fullest extent permitted by law all warranties are excluded and in no circumstances will We be responsible for any indirect or special damages.
• We will not be liable for failure to perform to the extent that the failure is caused by any factor beyond our reasonable control.
• You are responsible for any damage or loss caused to Us or our Our property by Your act, omission, default or neglect and You agree to indemnify Us and to pay Us on demand the amount reasonably required to make good or remedy any such damage or loss.
AVAILABILITY
• in the rare case that due to unforeseen circumstances we cannot deliver your requested accommodation, you will be offered alternate accommodation or a full refund.
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
• Check-in is from 15:00 to 22:00 (GMT). Check-in times outside of those specified must be confirmed with us prior to arrival. Check-out is at 09:30 (GMT).
CANCELLATIONS
• If you cancel Your Booking more than 48 hours before the scheduled check-in time on the date of arrival, the first night will be charged,a full refund of the amount paid will be processed to your credit or debit card within 5 working days less the first nights fee.
• If you cancel Your Booking within 48 hours of the scheduled check-in time on the date of arrival, a charge equivalent to the total Booking price that includes any supplements selected by you will be levied.
• To make a cancellation You must call us on 01754 762731 and quote Your reservation number, name and check-in date and have details of Your credit or debit card available.

Hours of operation: Our rooms are available for new arrivals from 3pm in the afternoon.
Any other times should be discussed with the Fountaindale in advance.
Local equipment hire companies: Brochures in the ground floor bedrooms only are supplied with telephone numbers of mobility hire companies in the area and much much more,
Mobility scooters are only allowed in the premises after 7pm in the evening, before hiring would you please get authorisation from the Fountaindale.
